Alma Egeskov (b. 2001, Denmark) is a New York based artist. In her photographic art, Egeskov isolates moments that exist in the space between interior and exterior, exploring tension and underlying dynamics. Women are central subjects in her work, fueling the female characters in the photos, sometimes portraying themselves, and other times existing only as female archetypes. With cinematic structures, Egeskov’s art focuses on the narrative of a moving presence within the still photograph.
